Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the Development of Joint Projects to Strengthen Foreign Investment between Iran and Brazil

According to the report of Investment Online, this memorandum of understanding aimed at facilitating the entry of foreign capital into the country and the development of joint projects in economic sectors was signed yesterday between Mehdi Azadvari, President of the Iranian and Foreign Joint Investment Association, and Seyyed Fakhreddin Amerian, President of the Iran-Brazil Joint Chamber of Commerce.
This cooperation document emphasizes areas such as strengthening joint investments between Iran and Brazil in areas such as agriculture, industry, knowledge-based technologies, and innovative projects. The parties have emphasized the creation of appropriate executive platforms and increasing economic ties with the aim of facilitating the presence of Brazilian investors in the Iranian market.
The memorandum also mentions holding conferences, specialized meetings, and joint business meetings focused on foreign investment, and it is stipulated that the path of new investments from Brazil to Iran will be facilitated and strengthened through joint planning by the two parties. The parties have expressed hope that the implementation of the provisions of the memorandum of understanding will pave the way for the development of long-term cooperation and increased economic interactions between the two countries.
